Scott has been practicing law since 1996. His practice focuses on criminal defense, family law and juvenile court cases.  He is also an experienced mediator.

Early in his career Scott worked as both a prosecutor and a public defender and spent a lot of time in the courtroom. Although most cases are not resolved at trial, he continues to spend a great deal of time in court. He understands that his clients are often experiencing extremely stressful situations, and he believes his main role is to be a problem solver. Scott strives to find the most effective and cost-efficient solution to each case, and he always endeavors to be available to answer questions and communicate with his clients.

Scott is married with two children and three step-children. Family is very important to him.
